CO2 levels and guidelines
Below are some Carbon dioxide (CO2) reference levels in general:
Background (normal) outdoor air level.
Typical level for occupied spaces with good air exchange.
Start ventilation of the room.
Level associated with complaints of drowsiness and poor air.
Level associated with headaches, sleepiness, and stagnant, stale, stuffy air. Poor concentration, loss of attention, increased heart rate and slight nausea may also be present.
Exposure may lead to serious oxygen deprivation resulting in permanent brain damage, coma, and death.
